Enhancing ESL Program for Accreditation
Project Purpose: Adapt program curriculum and create learning materials to meet requirements for accreditation as an English language school
Target Audience: Adults whose first language is not English

As part of a dedicated team, I played a crucial role in adapting the English as a Second Language (ESL) program to meet third-party accreditation standards. I joined the project mid-process, addressing specific issues identified by the accreditation board.
Key Contributions:
Standardized Syllabi: Developed comprehensive syllabi, filling gaps with detailed lesson plans, tests, exams, and supplemental materials for each course.
Student Handbook: Rewrote the student handbook to ensure clarity and completeness, using clear and concise language.
Document Copyediting: Meticulously copyedited various documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Through these efforts, we successfully aligned the ESL program with accreditation requirements, enhancing its quality and effectiveness and enabling the program to become accreditated.
